Westgate Offers Personnel Incentives and Personal Touch

David Siegel is an entrepreneur who likes to put his money where his entertainment is: and that would be the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino—formerly the Las Vegas Hilton and LVH.

He recently announced a company-wide increase in minimum pay to ten dollars an hour for his team members, effective Jan.1, 2015. Earlier this year, the company implemented a more generous 401(k) matching program, featuring a full 100-percent, dollar-for-dollar employer match of a team member’s first four-percent contribution.  Team members are eligible for this program after only 90 days of employment.

“We’re experiencing the best year in our history and I wanted to do something to show my gratitude for the employees who make that possible,” said Siegel. “The Westgate family includes some of the most talented professionals in the industry and it’s important that we reward our current employees and continue to attract the best and the brightest in the future.”

On September 11, in the Shimmer Cabaret, there was a screening of the 9/11 tribute movie “The Hornets’ Nest” to benefit the Green Beret Foundation with special guest, Lee Greenwood.

There will some saddle up time soon with the Westgate Rodeo Central, presented by Crown Royal Black, featuring daily drink specials, prize giveaways and live entertainment in conjunction with the 2014 Wranglers National Finals Rodeo taking place December 4 through 13.

Country music legends Sammy Kershaw, Lee Greenwood and John Michael Montgomery will be performing in the Westgate Theater. All shows will begin at 10 p.m. and start at $29 for locals Concert dates include: December 5-6: Sammy Kershaw, December 7-8: Lee Greenwood and December 9-10: John Michael Montgomery.

Recent additions to the Shimmer Cabaret line up are Neil Diamond: The Tribute starring Rob Garrett as the “King of Diamonds” and the K.O.D. Band, and a revamped Purple Reign: THE Prince Tribute Show starring Jason Tenner.
