Cranberry 'Plus' Holiday Punch-With or Without a Wallop

punch with berries and lemonThis is a popular holiday punch to serve during the day, at children’s parties or where alcohol is prohibited.Make a day in advance.

For those who prefer a little wallop in their punch add some Apple Pie Liquor, vodka or brandy.

 

Cranberry “Plus” Holiday Punch

Ingredients:

1/3 cup white sugar
1 quart cranberry juice
2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
3 tablespoons almond extract
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale

whole cranberries and lemon slices

Directions:

In a large container, mix together sugar, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and almond extract. Refrigerate for 1 day.

To serve, pour juice mixture into a punch bowl. Stir in ginger ale. Float the whole cranberries and lemon slices on the top as garnish.
