Rock History Has a Bright Future at the Tropicana
The highly popular Raiding the Rock Vault, a musical chronology of some of the greatest rock hits in history performed by members of the original recording bands, has moved from the Shimmer Cabaret (its home since inception at the former LVH) to the Showroom at the new Tropicana Hotel.
The two-hour live concert transports fans from the 1960’s thru the 80s while covering classic hits from The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Eagles, Queen, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Van Halen, Journey, Free, Aerosmith, Joan Jett, Starship and more. The nostalgic musical journey is highlighted by videos, light shows and hosted by a DJ narrator.
A stream of Billboard Chart makers and breakers keeps the audience on their feet lip-syncing out loud and doing the air guitar during performances by Howard Leese -Guitar (Heart, Bad Company), Doug Aldrich -Guitar (Whitesnake), Robin McAuley -Lead Vocals (MSG, Survivor), Paul Shortino -Lead Vocals (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), Jay Schellen-Drums (Hurricane, Asia), Andrew Freeman -Lead Vocals (Offpsring), Michael T.
