Autumn is in the air and it’s time to switch from summertime diets to fall and winter foods. Oddly enough, I can’t eat raw tomatoes but I LOVE them cooked. Nothing can be finer or more evocative of Mom and cozy winter lunches at the table than a bowl of zesty tomato soup and the crunchy crust and melted golden middle of a toasted cheese sandwich!
