Our delightful guest this week was former Nevada Senator Richard Bryan. His devotion to the Silver State includes decades of legislative service from Nevada Attorney General to two terms as Governor and one term as a Nevada Senator. Senator Bryan is one of only two Nevadans to have a statue placed in his honor at the University of Nevada Reno. The other honoree is Comstock silver baron, John Mackay. Senator Bryan shares a wealth of Vegas history starting from his early days in kindergarten when “downtown” was no more than several neighborhood streets, throughout his years in Nevada politics. He ends the interview with his opinion on current White House affairs and the future of downtown Las Vegas.
