A Hot Martini-Not Toddy-For Dad

For those who were born and raised, or transplanted, in the Southwest, peppers and chilies of all varieties are common and welcome fare. For the Southwest Dad at heart this martini is a muy sabroso combination of sweet and fiery! Arriba papa!

  Habañero  Pepper Martini


2 ounces reposado tequila

1 ounce dry vermouth

1 small whole habañero pepper for garnish



Pour the tequila and dry vermouth into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake well.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with a habanero pepper.
