I’ve said if before (VOE Imbibery, Spring 2013) and I’ll say it again: this green tea flavored vodka produced by Charbay is one of the most perfect of refreshing spring cocktail ingredients to serve in martinis or highballs at a pool or garden party. Charbay Green Tea Vodka’s main essence is an extraction of rare first-growth green tea from the Anhwei Province in China.
Green Tea Vodka Highball
2 ounces Charbay Green Tea Vodka
2 ounces fresh lemon juice
2 ounces simple syrup
Lemon wedge for garnish
Pour the vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup into an ice filled highball glass.
Top with soda water.
Pour the contents into a shaker to mix.
Pour back into the glass.
Garnish with the lemon wedge.
