Hardcore Hard Cider Sangria

Apple cider is a winter staple is various regions of the country. And a sweet sangria makes for a great party punch. Put the two together with a dash of apple brandy and go hardcore with hard apple cider in the mix and you’ve got a refreshing and invigorating party beverage for winter evenings, events and parties.


Hardcore Hard Cider Sangria


1 cup quartered and thinly sliced unpeeled green, yellow and red apples

1 navel orange—quartered and thinly sliced crosswise

1 cup apple juice, chilled

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup apple brandy

One 22-ounce bottle hard apple cider

chilled Ice


In a pitcher, combine the apple wedges, orange slices, apple juice, lemon juice and brandy. Add the hard cider then serve immediately  in tall glasses over ice.
