There’s nothing like a good old fashioned Old Fashion. In the spirit of autumn leaves substitute the traditional sugar with a couple teaspoons of maple syrup. You won’t regret it. (I personally prefer syrup over sugar anytime of the year)
Maple Bourbon Old-Fashioned
Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp water
1 dash bitters
1 orange peel
1 maraschino cherry
Directions:
Combine maple syrup, water and bitters in a glass, stir until well blended. Add a few blocks of ice and the orange peel, then pour the bourbon on top. Garnish with a cherry and serve.
