KEVIN HART WILL RETURN TO THE COSMOPOLITAN’S CHELSEA STAGE: The Cosmopolitan will welcome back comedic genius and award-winning actor Kevin Hart to The Chelsea stage on Saturday and Sunday, July 2 and 3. This will be Hart’s first major tour in more than four years beginning in July with stops at more than 30 arenas across North America. Hart is hailed as one of the highest-earning stand-up comedians of 2019 by “Forbes.” His most recent global comedy tour sold out more than 100 arenas around the world and sold over one million tickets worldwide in 2018 during his “Irresponsible Tour.” He continued to break records with his hometown stand-up performance at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field during his “What Now Tour,” marking the first time a comedian sold out an NFL stadium in Philadelphia. Hart’s concert will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival, phones will be secured in individual Yondr pouches, which will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space. All pouches and equipment are routinely sanitized.

LUKE BRYAN ANNOUNCES MORE RESIDENCY DATES AT RESORTS WORLD: Country superstar Luke Bryan opened his residency engagement last weekend at the new 5,000-capacity Resorts World Theatre. The five-time entertainer of the year set the tone for his highly anticipated shows with an electric sold-out performance that had fans on their feet and rocking out to top hits such as “That’s My Kind of Night,” “One Margarita” and “Country Girl (Shake It for Me).” Bryan brought the party to Las Vegas with a high energy performance having him work the theatre and interacting with fans. The set features a shifting stage that lifts Bryan and his band to the rhythms of his hit songs. The artist took to the piano to sing “Strip it Down” and “Do I” against a backdrop of lights. In a spectacular encore, Bryan walked an elevated catwalk that appeared from the ceiling and floated back up 45 feet high above the crowd, bringing the superstar face-to-face with the mezzanine and balcony levels as the crowd went wild. Due to incredible ticket demand, the country music star is adding nine new show dates to “Luke Bryan: Vegas.” The new dates are June 15, 17-18, 22 and 24-25; Aug. 31; and Sept. 3-4. His remaining February dates are 18-19, 20, 23, and 25-26.

95.5 THE BULL’S 12TH ANNUAL GUITAR PULL ADDS HEADLINERS: The Cosmopolitan and 95.5 The Bull have added four country music stars to the 95.5 The Bull’s 12th Annual Guitar Pull lineup taking place on Saturday, March 5 at The Chelsea. The evening will feature performances by Scotty McCreery, Carly Pearce, Parker McCollum, Lauren Alaina, Ray Fulcher, Laci Kaye Booth, and has added Lindsay Ell, Chayce Beckham, Morgan Evans and Ryan Hurd. It’s interesting three of the headliners got their break on “American Idol,” proving talent shows are great outlets for exposing future stars. Scotty McCreery was the “American Idol” season 10 winner. He made history as the first, and youngest, male country artist to have his album debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2011. Both hit singles “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble with Girls” were certified Platinum and earned him New Artist of the Year at both the Academy of Country Music Awards and American Country Music Awards.  Lauren Alaina is known for her first big break on the tenth season of “American Idol,” and has made her mark on the country music scene ever since. In 2011, Alaina’s first album “Wildflower,” debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. The Platinum-selling artist’s latest EP, “Getting Good” has received widespread praise. Texas-native Laci Kaye Booth first stepped onto the scene with an appearance on season 17 of “American Idol,” placing in the top five finalists of the hit show. Her unique sound, described as “dreamy country,” caught the attention of the Nashville-based record label Big Machine Label Group. Her self-titled debut album, released in 2021 has garnered critical acclaim, earning her a spot on the highly coveted 2022 Stagecoach lineup.
