Golf for Charity In the Second Annual
Kevin Geary Memorial Golf Tournament Fundraiser
Tee off for a charitable cause during the annual Kevin Geary Memorial Golf Tournament and Fundraiser. The two-part event on Saturday, October 9, will consist of a scramble golf tournament and luncheon award ceremony. Proceeds raised will benefit a local mental health organization and the Kevin Geary Soccer Scholarship. The tournament will take place at The Revere Golf Club in Henderson. Registration was set to close on September 15. Due to popular demand the deadline has been extended until September 24.
The annual tournament raises funds for organizations in the Las Vegas community specializing in helping those who struggle with mental health, depression, or anxiety. This year’s goal is to surpass last year’s fundraising amount of $10,000.
The tournament honors Kevin Geary, who passed away in 2019. Kevin played soccer for the Las Vegas Legends and also enjoyed golfing. This event allows friends to gather in his memory while raising money for a local mental health organization.
Tickets include a round of golf and lunch. Registration for individual players or groups of four are available. For those looking for assistance to better their game, golf instructor Shawn Callahan from the Butch Harmon School of Golf will offer a free clinic before play. Attendees also have the chance to win raffle prizes and bid in the silent auction during the luncheon.
For non-golfers, tickets to the luncheon only are also available. Those that cannot attend in person can donate promotional swag or contribute a product or service to the raffle and silent auction.
